Arriving with the Hong Kong Airport

Positioned just north of Lantau island on Chek Lap Kok island and reclaimed land, the airport is about 32km (twenty miles) from Hong Kong Central. Two runways operate 24 hrs a day, and a baggage-handling technique delivers bags in approximately 10 minutes. The airport terminal setting up is intended from the award winning British architect Sir Norman Foster and is Hong Kong’s largest single creating. Its wing-like roof and glass walls have already been hailed as a landmark in modern day architecture.
